FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need Health Insurance?

Yes. Although you do not need insurance for your primary care that you receive from Dr. Farley, you will still need coverage for those things not included in your membership agreement (such as hospital admissions, emergency room visits, specialists, Imaging, prescription drugs etc.). Members often realize considerable savings by purchasing a high deductible plan to cover these additional services.

Will I ever be charged a co-pay for my visit?

Never! This is not insurance. There are no co-pays or hidden fees. Most of your primary care is included in your low monthly membership fee.

Do accept Medicare?

We do see patients who are on Medicare and we can order labs and imaging through your medicare plan, but we do not bill medicare for our medical services, they are included in the monthly fee.

What if I have an urgent issue and the office is closed?

You have 24/7 access to Dr. Farley via a HIPPA complaint communication app called spruce. You can call or text anytime. Dr. Farley will also do acute visits on weekends as needed as well. If Dr. Farley is out of town she will still be available via telemedicine or will have another provider covering for urgent issues

Do you write prescriptions for narcotics and controlled substances?

Yes.

What about drugs, lab test and imaging?

These can be billed to your insurance or are offered at cash pay prices from the labs with no upcharges. Typical annual labs cost around $40 dollars.

How do I cancel?

Just let us know you would no longer like to be a member.

Can you see me if I am not a member?

We only see children of patients for acute visits at a $35 dollar visit fee

Do you do house calls?

House calls are usually done for acute visits and on a case-by-case basis and must be approved by Dr. Farley.
